What Can We Accommodate?

Most Common Food Allergies

  • Peanuts: A common allergen, especially in children. Symptoms can range from mild reactions like rashes and hives to severe anaphylaxis.

  • Tree Nuts: Includes almonds, walnuts, pistachios, cashews, and more. Reactions can vary greatly in severity.

  • Milk: Unlike lactose intolerance, a milk allergy involves an immune reaction to milk proteins, causing symptoms like vomiting, hives, and potentially anaphylaxis.

  • Eggs: Common in children, egg allergies can cause skin reactions, respiratory problems, and anaphylaxis. Some people are allergic to just the white, just the yolk, or both.

  • Soy: More common in children than adults, soy allergies can range from mild reactions to severe anaphylaxis.

Most Common Dietary Restrictions

  • Gluten-Free: All of our products are gluten-free by default. We do not use any ingredients containing gluten or wheat.
  • Vegetarian: A diet that excludes meat, poultry, and fish. Some vegetarians may include dairy and eggs in their diet.
  • Vegan: A stricter form of vegetarianism that avoids all animal products, including dairy, eggs, and honey.
  • Lactose-Free: For those with lactose intolerance, we avoid dairy products like milk, cheese, and yogurt.
  • Low-Carb/Ketogenic: A diet that limits carbohydrate intake and increases protein and fat consumption.
  • Paleo: A diet focused on lean meats, fish, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds, avoiding processed foods and grains.
  • Low-FODMAP: Recommended for people with IBS, this diet limits foods high in certain carbohydrates called FODMAPs.
  • Allergen-Free: We cater to allergies such as peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, soy, and wheat.

Most Common Allergies Associated with Bakeries

Our bakery is 100% gluten-free, and we do not use any ingredients containing gluten or wheat. However, here are some common allergens associated with baked goods:

  • Eggs: Used in many bakery products, egg allergies can cause skin reactions, respiratory problems, and anaphylaxis.
  • Milk: Baked goods often contain milk or milk-derived ingredients, which can cause symptoms like vomiting, hives, and anaphylaxis.
  • Tree Nuts and Peanuts: Many baked goods may contain or be cross-contaminated with nuts, causing severe reactions, including anaphylaxis.
  • Soy: Often used in baking, soy can cause reactions ranging from mild hives to severe anaphylaxis.
  • Sesame: Used in some baked goods and as a topping, sesame allergies are increasingly common and can cause severe reactions.
  • Latex: Found in gloves used for food preparation, latex allergies can cause skin irritation, hives, or even anaphylactic shock.
  • Cleaning Chemicals: Those with chemical sensitivities may react to cleaning products used in a bakery environment.
  • Food Dyes: Some people have allergies or sensitivities to food dyes used in decorating pastries and cakes.
